The company’s RIS product is available in a variety of configurations and can be purchased, rented, or utilized as an application service provider (ASP)-based service, according to the vendor.
The firm’s base model RIS features patient registration and order entry, scheduling, transcription, radiology report management, report distribution via email and print, and a technologist worklist.
Add-on modules are available for faxing, document scanning, DICOM modality worklist, PACS integration and DICOM converter, DICOM CD burning, billing, HL7, mammography tracking, marketing and usage reporting, and a referring physician Web portal, said net-RIS.
