Voice-recognition software developer Provox Technologies of Roanoke, VA, has made a sale of its speech recognition-based radiology reporting workflow software to Stockton MRI and Molecular Imaging Center in Stockton, CA.
Provox is integrating its VoxReports product into the facility’s WebMD Practice Services system, which will allow it to programmatically interpret patient information and the exam procedure code to automate the reporting process, ProVox said.
In other news, ProVox will be introducing tablet PC-based speech recognition reporting software for mobile radiologists at next week’s RSNA conference in Chicago. The application was developed specifically as a wireless solution, allowing reports to be dictated at any location and automatically synchronized when reconnected to a network, the company said.
