Speech recognition technology developer Voicebrook has launched version 2.0 of its VoiceOver Enterprise product, an integrated toolset that works with many computerized patient record (CPR), RIS, and PACS systems, according to the Lake Success, NY-based firm.
In addition to the base product, SQL-compliant database plug-ins for both standalone reporting and integration with medical documentation systems are available, the firm said. All plug-ins support the HL7 messaging standard (version 2.1 or higher), ensuring secure data transfer between a desktop workstation and back-end medical information systems. Medical disciplines supported with VoiceOver 2.0 include radiology, cardiology, pathology, and general medicine, Voicebrook said.
