peerVue launches teaching file product

Software developer peerVue of Burlington, VT, has launched a new software application for managing digital teaching files.

peerVue's Digital Structured Teaching File Solution is built on Microsoft's .NET architecture and streamlines the process of assembling, managing, and exchanging teaching files, according to the company. The peerVue software includes a DICOM viewer and coding services using ICD-9, CPT, and American College of Radiology lexicons. It can be used to publish teaching files to existing Web sites, and can be integrated with a PACS and RIS.

Institutions can purchase an enterprise version and locally host the application for use by multiple users, or individual users can purchase single peerVue licenses and a subscription to the firm's caseNet teaching file network.
