Imaging vendor Konica Minolta Medical Imaging of Wayne, NJ, said it will utilize the Mobile Techlink system to connect its mobile field service technicians with back-end systems at its service headquarters.
The system, from Metrix of Waukesha, WI, will enable Konica Minolta's technicians to view and accept service requests remotely; record and relay service expenses; capture signatures; and record diagnostic information from medical imaging equipment, tracking the information over time, Konica Minolta said. It will also provide information to technicians in the field, including service and shipping information, and mapping and driving directions.
