Clinical informatics developer Hx Technologies has completed installation of its iHistory clinical information network at the University of Pennsylvania Health System (UPHS) and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. The two unaffiliated medical centers are now using iHistory to access the other institution's radiology images and reports for shared patients, according to the Philadelphia-based firm.
iHistory, which provides a means for physicians to gain on-demand, patient-authorized access to digital medical records beyond their enterprise, is now commercially available, Hx Technologies said.
