Merge eFilm releases new Fusion RIS

Milwaukee-based RIS/PACS provider Merge eFilm has released the latest iteration of its RIS offering, Fusion RIS (RIS Logic Module) 2.5.

Fusion RIS 2.5 includes integration with the firm's Fusion PACS and features an optional document-management module embedded into the RIS/PACS workflow. It also includes more than 140 other feature enhancements, according to Merge eFilm.

The document-management module is embedded within the RIS/PACS workflow, which provides the capability for one login on one desktop to scan, view, import, export, edit, customize, and store paper documents, such as prescriptions, forms, or patient and insurance identification within the patient record, Merge eFilm said.
