WebMD of Elmwood Park, NJ, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts have extended an electronic data interchange (EDI) agreement.
The three-year extension covers electronic claims submission and other transactions such as eligibility inquiries, referrals, claims status checks, and electronic remittance advice, WebMD said. WebMD is the parent company of RIS developer WebMD Practice Services of Van Nuys, CA.
