Information management systems firm Communication Synergy Technologies (ComSynTech) reported that its wholly owned subsidiary, MedSynTech, has signed a multiyear agreement with Eastman Kodak Health Imaging to jointly develop a Kodak RIS for the diagnostic imaging center market.
MedSynTech will also license technology to Kodak as part of the development effort. Under the agreement, research and development teams from both companies will tailor Kodak's current RIS to the specific needs of diagnostic imaging centers, and will collaborate to evolve future generations of the product, according to Rochester, NY-based ComSynTech.
