Agfa HealthCare will be introducing its RIS product for North America, Practice Management System (PMS), at RSNA 2004.

The product is tailored to meet the specific needs of North American imaging centers, according to the Greenville, SC-based Agfa. The firm said PMS includes scheduling, reporting, workflow management, worklist integration, billing, and practice business analysis. PMS integrates seamlessly with Impax, Agfa's PACS software.

Along with its new RIS offering, Agfa will be showcasing its TalkStation 3.0 speech recognition system. The product provides the capability for enterprise reporting and connecting image and information systems to enable users to read and report clinical specialties at a single workstation, the company said.

TalkStation 3.0 features flexible reporting workflow, an intuitive user interface, and the Dragon NaturallySpeaking v7 Medical speech engine from ScanSoft of Peabody, MA, Agfa said. The product is available now.
