Amicas will debut its Vision Series RIS, formerly VitalWorks' RadConnect RIS, within the Vision Series of products, which also includes Vision Series PACS and Vision Series Financials. The latter product was formerly VitalWorks Practice Manager Radiology.
Vision Series RIS and Financials are targeted to imaging center, ambulatory care, and radiology practices. Complementing Vision Series is Amicas Insight Services, a professional services solution that implements Web-based image and information management, according to the Boston-based developer.
Vision Series RIS will be demonstrated as a modular Web-based application with desktop integration to Amicas RealTime Worklist, which allows personalized enterprise workflow. Vision Series RIS can be launched from within RealTime Worklist, and now natively supports DICOM Modality Worklist, Amicas said.
