Communication Synergy Technologies (ComSynTech) will demonstrate the integration of its proprietary data preservation and archiving technology into its InForm RIS at the RSNA show.
The archiving software, CDV1000 Document Vault, does not rely on a document's originating hardware or software to restore the document to a human-readable format, according to the Rochester, NY-based firm. The strategy was developed for document preservation, such as U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration compliance record for staff and patient radiation exposure, and archive management. The InForm RIS integration with the product ensures that compliance records are easily kept, easily preserved, and easily retrieved, ComSynTech said.
In related news, the firm recently partnered with billing software developer MedPay USA, and will be debuting the integration of MedPay's billing verification application with the InForm RIS at the RSNA show.
The addition of the new eligibility function allows the InForm RIS to deliver a host of prebilling functions, including eligibility verification, Medicare compliance, electronic claims processing, claims auditing, claims status, remittance posting, secondary billing, contract management, and denial management, the company said.
