CPU Medical Management Systems will highlight the latest version of its RIS and medical financial management software, MED/FM for Radiology 6.0.
Release 6.0 features a new statement process, HIPAA privacy notes, a document attachment module, an enhanced transcription module, and a more advanced anesthesia module. The new statement process allows users to view virtual statements and run reverse statement procedures across all entities, according to the San Diego-based firm.
Release 6.0 is designed to be HIPAA-compliant and provides special areas for HIPAA privacy notes. Password and access profiles were among the enhancements added to MED/FM's Transcription Module, the company said.
CPU's Document Attachment Module allows users to attach an image to a patient's account as well as a scanned image of an explanation of benefits (EOB) to an open item batch, making that image available on every account in the batch. The company's enhanced Anesthesia Module now handles concurrency and stop/start procedures as well as new anesthesia fields and reports.
MED/FM for Radiology 6.0 is available now in the U.S., CPU said.
