Informatics developer IDX Systems will showcase its Web-based Imagecast workflow solution at RSNA 2004. IDX will also show phase one of a new user interface strategy, an enhanced interpreting provider worklist, and a prototype of its Imagecast for Cardiology software.
Graphical scheduling is a new visual scheduling tool within Imagecast workflow solutions for both radiology and cardiology that is being shown for the first time at RSNA 2004. The tool will increase scheduling efficiencies through its easy-to-use design and multiple scheduling functionalities, IDX said.
Other features of Imagecast RIS include multiorganizational rules-based scheduling, graphical scheduling, patient and film tracking, an integrated mammography administration module, QA and QC functions, multiple diagnostic reporting options, comprehensive outcome monitoring, and new interface capabilities, according to the Burlington, VT-based vendor.
Imagecast RIS is available now. The cardiology portion of the application is scheduled for delivery late in the first quarter of 2005, IDX said.
