InStar Systems will be bringing the latest version of its RIS, InStar Enterprise.NET, to McCormick Place this year.
Key components of the Microsoft .Net-based system include billing, mammography tracking, a multifacility database, centralized scheduling, electronic medical record (EMR) capabilities, and dictation and voice recognition. Enterprise.NET has a customizable user interface, a real-time patient status grid, and a management and marketing report suite, according to Colorado Springs, CO-based InStar.
The product, available now, is targeted at imaging centers, small hospitals, and orthopedic practices, the company said.
