RIS and PACS developer NovaRad will be introducing the latest iteration of its RIS software, NovaRIS Enterprise, at RSNA 2004.
The HL7-based application is fully DICOM-compatible, as well as being HIPAA- and IHE-compliant, according to the American Fork, UT-based NovaRad. It features embedded business rules, a patient information system, dictation and voice recognition capabilities, as well as charge capture, billing, and reporting modules.
NovaRIS Enterprise has Web-based scheduler, patient registration, and order entry functions. The application touts a Web-based architecture that supports the capability to work onsite or remotely with no loss of functionality, and allows for single- and multiple-site configurations. The product is available worldwide this month, NovaRad said.
