Clinical documentation technology developer Content Solutions has integrated Dragon NaturallySpeaking speech recognition technology from ScanSoft of Peabody, MA, into its MedReportal product, according to the New Hope, PA-based vendor.
MedReportal is a Web-based clinical documentation solution that automates and manages the clinical documentation life cycle, from digital dictation and transcription through electronic signature and automated distribution, the firm said.
The integration of speech recognition into the MedReportal platform enables the conversion of speech into text, and also supports the batch processing of recorded speech from a range of devices, the company said.
