Kodak adds imaging, information system sales

The Eastman Kodak Health Group reported winning multiple sales contracts this year for its healthcare information, DR, and CR products.

The Rochester, NY-based company said that Cancer Treatment Centers of America of Schaumburg, IL, purchased its CareStream PACS and CareStream Enterprise Information Management system for Eastern Regional Medical Center in Philadelphia. DOSHI Diagnostic Imaging Services of Hicksville, NY, ordered upgrades to the CareStream Enterprise Information Management product for its New York and Florida locations.

Mercy Health Partners of Toledo, OH, ordered a CareStream PACS and CareStream Enterprise Information Management system, as well as data migration services from the firm. Mercy Medical Center of Des Moines, IA, ordered a CareStream PACS and CareStream Enterprise Information Management system, as well as network and data migration services from the company's Professional Services group.

Rochester Radiology Associates of Rochester, NY, bought the company's CareStream RIS, PACS, and Enterprise Information Management products along with its Secure Email service and CR Systems; while Laredo Medical Center of Laredo, TX, ordered a CareStream PACS along with eight DirectView CR 825, CR 850, and CR 975 devices.

Columbia New York-Presbyterian of New York City ordered five DirectView CR 975 systems; Denver Health of Denver ordered four DirectView CR 975 systems, four DirectView CR 850 systems, and one DirectView Long-Length Imaging system. Providence Hospital in Mobile, AL, purchased 13 DirectView CR 975, CR 850, and CR 825 systems; and Trinity Health in Davenport, IA, purchased six DirectView CR 975 and CR 825 systems as well as a DryView 8900 laser imaging product.

North Shore Health Systems in Manhasset, NY, purchased eight CR devices; Oakwood Healthcare System in Dearborn, MI, purchased a DirectView CR 975, CR 850, and a DryView 8900 laser imaging product for Oakwood Heritage Hospital in Taylor, MI, and a CR 975 and three CR 850 systems for Oakwood Southshore Medical Center in Trenton, MI.

Pioneers Medical Center in Meeker, CO, purchased a DirectView Web Distribution system and a CR 850; and Roper St. Francis HealthCare in Charleston, SC, purchased a DirectView DR 7500 product equipped with an optional second detector for its Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital in Charleston.

In addition, independent healthcare facilities in Ontario, Canada, ordered 21 of the company's CR systems, which were partially funded by the provincial government, according to Kodak.
