Kodak signs MedAssets

The Eastman Kodak Health Group has been chosen by MedAssets Supply Chain Systems of Atlanta to provide its Secure Email Services (SES) to the 25,000 customers of MedAssets.

Under the terms of the multiyear agreement, MedAssets customers may begin purchasing Kodak's SES to expedite secure communications between healthcare organizations and their business partners, according to the Rochester, NY-based firm.

Kodak said it developed the product to address HIPAA compliance issues for electronic data exchange for healthcare organizations and their partners, such as associated physicians, diagnostic imaging centers, clinics, and insurance carriers.
