Healthcare information technology vendor McKesson of Atlanta has signed a deal to purchase patient billing provider HealthCom Partners.
HealthCom has created applications such as a virtual business office that features online self-service and consolidated patient billing on a single statement. The Prospect, IL-based firm produces more than 30 million patient statements per year, has more than 200 customers, and has a 99% customer retention rate over the past 10 years, McKesson said.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
