Agfa lands UCSD RIS order

Agfa HealthCare will be installing its Impax RIS and scheduling software at the University of California San Diego (UCSD) Medical Center.

Combined with the institution's current Impax PACS network and TalkStation speech recognition package, the installation will be the largest integrated Agfa PACS, RIS, and reporting network in the U.S., according to the Mortsel, Belgium-based firm. The contract also includes a long-term service agreement.
