Siemens unveils healthcare budgeting tool

Siemens Medical Solutions has released a new Web-based Decision Support Solutions (DSS) distributed budgeting tool.

The Malvern, PA-based firm said that its new information technology (IT) offering unifies and streamlines manual budget submission processes by utilizing Microsoft Excel and customizable model templates in a distributed environment. The DSS tool allows users to create a single, cohesive model template that supports the negotiation and approval process. It also supports interactive analyses and can be accessed across a healthcare enterprise.
