3M upgrades EPR software

3M Health Information Systems of St. Paul, MN, has released new versions of its 3M ChartView software and 3M Electronic Signature Authentication (ESA) software.

3M ChartView software and 3M ESA software are part of 3M's electronic patient record (EPR), and are designed for instant, secure access to a patient's chart, giving clinicians the ability to sign the chart from any workstation on a hospital network, via the Internet, or from remote locations.

The updated applications merge both Web and desktop versions into one platform. Advanced document markup tools include check marks, text boxes, and Post-it Notes in the new 3M ESA software.
