Speech recognition and transcription technology provider MedQuist will debut a Web-based version of its PhysAssist IQ mobile dictation application at next week's annual meeting of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) in Orlando, FL.
The new release is designed to provide more flexibility over documenting at the point of care, employing mobile devices such as "flip" phones, smartphones, personal digital assistants (PDAs), and tablet PCs, according to the Mount Laurel, NJ-based firm.
