Healthcare informatics firm Eclipsys of Atlanta has acquired Enterprise Performance Systems (EPSi), a developer of business performance-improvement products and services.
Eclipsys paid $53 million in cash for EPSi in a deal that closed on February 25. The addition of EPSi's products will speed up Eclipsys' timeline for delivering a business decision-support product based on Microsoft's SQL platform, according to the company.
