Siemens Medical Solutions of Malvern, PA, is demonstrating an enhanced version of its syngo WebSpace software for CT data analysis at this week's meeting of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) in Orlando, FL.
WebSpace is a client-server software application that enables physicians to access CT data remotely, whether they're in the home, office, or traveling. New features on display at the HIMSS show include Advanced Vessel Analysis, which includes a refined vessel segmentation algorithm, centerline editing capability, guided workflow, automated measurement tools, and improved reporting tools.
Another new addition is a 2D viewing card that supports viewing images from multiple modalities, and also includes 2D tools that can be used when a facility's PACS network is unavailable. Siemens has also added new preset window key functions, as well as support for three to 20 concurrent sessions, depending on server configuration.
