McKesson receives cardiology order

Healthcare information systems firm McKesson has received an order for its Horizon Cardiology cardiovascular information system from Caritas Christi Health Care System (CCHCS) in Boston.

CCHCS will use Horizon Cardiology to provide medical imaging and reporting capabilities for cardiac cath, echocardiography, and electrocardiograms (ECG) at all six of its hospitals, according to the Atlanta-based vendor.
