Agfa HealthCare is presenting two new modules for its Impax Cardiovascular Suite at this week's American College of Cardiology (ACC) meeting in Chicago.
The Impax Nuclear Cardiology report module provides a vendor-neutral image management and reporting system for integrating nuclear cardiology with multiple cardiology modalities, according to the Greenville, SC-based vendor. The other module, Impax Non-Invasive Vascular, is an imaging and reporting module for vascular laboratories, offering integrated structured reporting for various noninvasive exams, Agfa said.
In other Agfa news, the company said it has been selected by the Canadian province of New Brunswick as its vendor of choice for a diagnostic imaging repository. The agreement will provide the infrastructure required to capture, store, view, and link relevant patient information for New Brunswick's 740,000 residents, Agfa said. New Brunswick is partnering with Canada Health Infoway on the initiative.
