Philips Speech teams with Euromed

Euromed Networks of London is partnering with Philips Speech Recognition Systems to integrate and distribute the Vienna-based company's SpeechMagic platform in the U.K. and Ireland.

Euromed Networks' digital dictation and image management MedSpeech software is powered by SpeechMagic and designed to integrate with healthcare IT applications, such as HIS/RIS and PACS.

The first installation of the technology currently is under way at HCA International, the largest private healthcare provider in the Central London area. HCA is installing MedSpeech with SpeechMagic at 11 sites.
