ProSolv to offer Philips US software interface

ProSolv CardioVascular of Indianapolis announced that it will provide an interface between its CardioVascular Image and Information Systems (CVIIS) software and Philips' QLAB ultrasound package.

ProSolv's QLAB interface will allow users to launch the QLAB application directly from the image while performing image review and reporting within the ProSolv CardioVascular application. ProSolv expects this capability to make the diagnostic cycle more efficient by eliminating the need to perform quantification on the ultrasound system after the images are acquired.

ProSolv is a subsidiary of film and PACS vendor Fujifilm Medical Systems USA of Stamford, CT.
