Siemens Healthcare and IBM have inked a deal to provide Siemens' customers access to IBM's server technology.
As a result, hospitals using or planning to employ Siemens' MedSeries4 healthcare information system will be able to utilize IBM's Power server technology, BladeCenter servers, Tivoli Storage Manager software, and specially configured IBM System Storage DS3000 and DS4000 systems, according to IBM of Armonk, NY, and Siemens of Malvern, PA.
