Philips Healthcare of Andover, MA, has begun shipping the new version of its Xcelera cardiology information management, analysis, and reporting software.
Xcelera R2.2 adds enhanced support for imaging studies and data from cardiac subspecialties, including cardiac catheterization and cardiovascular ultrasound equipment, as well as nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, and electrophysiology.
It also provides access to electrocardiograms (ECGs) from ECG management systems from multiple vendors.
Xcelera R2.2's embedded support for the new AutoQuant v7.0 nuclear cardiology quantification package allows doctors to analyze heart structure and function. The system also is compatible with existing and future versions of the Philips QLAB suite of ultrasound quantification tools.
