McKesson acquires Vivalog

Healthcare information systems firm McKesson of Atlanta has acquired Vivalog Technologies of Seattle, the company reported.

Vivalog offers the MyPACS.net medical imaging reference site that allows radiologists, cardiologists, and other imaging specialists to organize and share image and reference case information.

The acquisition allows McKesson to expand its current hospital imaging and information management systems with reference case management and clinical conferencing capabilities, the company said.
