Interventional device developer Boston Scientific has launched a new clinical science initiative, Altitude, to analyze data from its Latitude Patient Management remote cardiac device monitoring system, the company reported.
Altitude will use Latitude data to answer questions related to implantable cardiac defibrillator and cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator device therapy.
Boston Scientific has enrolled 100,000 patients in the Latitude system since its launch in 2006, the Natick, MA-based company said.
