Informatics Corporation of America (ICA) of Nashville, TN, announced that the Health Information Exchange of Montana (HIEM) and Northwest Healthcare have selected its A3 Align Solution to consolidate patient data across treatment facilities.
ICA's system is designed to facilitate the sharing of patient information from disparate healthcare facilities via a single Web-based solution. It is intended to provide a patient's longitudinal healthcare record for clinical use while eliminating the need for manual patient data transmissions, according to ICA.
The HIEM includes six hospitals and 25 clinics, including the Northwest Healthcare system, in western Montana.
