GE Healthcare of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K., has extended its IT collaboration with Hewlett Packard (HP) of Palo Alto, CA, to offer preconfigured, preinstalled GE Centricity Enterprise software on HP Integrity NonStop servers.
The collaboration will target midsize hospitals and developing countries to deploy GE's clinical workflow product, Centricity Enterprise.
GE currently is collaborating with HP to pilot an IT product for new hospitals in the Gulf region of the U.S., and expects to begin global marketing of the technology later this year.
