HLTH to sell ViPS subsidiary

Healthcare information technology firm HLTH of Elmwood Park, NJ, has signed a deal to sell its ViPS subsidiary to General Dynamics Information Technology of Falls Church, VA, for $225 million.

ViPS provides healthcare data management, analytics, decision support, and process automation products and services to government, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and commercial healthcare payors.
