GE Healthcare of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K., announced that a five-hospital system in North Carolina has started using its version 6.1 Centricity Enterprise software.
Moses Cone Health System of Greensboro, NC, chose Centricity Enterprise in part to prepare for future implementation of barcode medication administration and computerized physician order entry, according to GE. Centricity Enterprise is a clinical, financial, and administrative package that streamlines physician orders and clinical decisions and documents patient care.
