Sage Software to cut 235 jobs

Sage Software Healthcare of Tampa, FL, is joining the list of healthcare companies reducing their workforces.

The healthcare IT software developer will cut 235 employees from its workforce of approximately 1,700. The announcement comes shortly after parent company Sage Group, based in Newcastle upon Tyne, U.K., told investors of its plans to restructure.

Sage Software Healthcare offers software for PACS, RIS, electronic medical records, claims processing, and data management.
