Healthcare information technology firm HLTH of Elmwood Park, NJ, has completed the sale of its ViPS segment to General Dynamics Information Technology of Falls Church, VA, for $225 million in cash.
ViPS provides healthcare data management, analytics, decision support, and process automation products and services to government, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and commercial healthcare payors.
HLTH owns 84% of WebMD Health, a provider of health information services for consumers, physicians, healthcare professionals, employers, and health plans.
