3M launches coding software

3M Health Information Systems of St. Paul, MN, has debuted a new hospital coding package, the company said.

Codefinder Computer-Assisted Edition assists users with the inpatient coding process with mapping tools that analyze and interpret text-based clinical documentation to identify codes for review. The package is integrated with 3M's coding and reimbursement system as well.

It can also be used with the company's VoiceScript, ChartScript, and ChartView software, according to 3M.
