Healthcare informatics firm Eclipsys has won a contract with a Southern California hospital for its Sunrise Clinical Manager electronic medical record (EMR) package, the Atlanta-based firm said.
Methodist Hospital in Arcadia has integrated Sunrise modules into its care delivery protocol as part of a "Next Generation of Care" initiative, Eclipsys said.
Sunrise Clinical Manager's integrated modules, Sunrise Acute Care and Sunrise Emergency Care, are components of Eclipsys' Sunrise Enterprise package, built with Eclipsys XA architecture, an extended architecture that allows for a modular approach to EMR capabilities, according to Eclipsys.
