Dolbey

(Booth 7349) Dolbey of Cincinnati will showcase its Fusion Speech product, designed to offer front- and back-end speech recognition capabilities.

Fully integrated with many PACS, RIS, and HIS applications, Fusion Speech is based on Microsoft Client Server architecture and is compliant with SQL Server and HL7.

Powered by Philips Speech Recognition's SpeechMagic, Fusion Speech is designed to improve workflow efficiencies and turnaround through physician dictation, electronic signature, report distribution, systems integration, and management reporting, the company said. Fusion Speech has been available in the U.S. and worldwide since 2003.

In May 2008, Dolbey unveiled its Voice2Text speech recognition product for medical transcription services, featuring back-end speech recognition without requiring a change to the document management platform.
