(Booth 4676) Double Black Imaging of Westminster, CO, will preview its DICOMetrix Dashboard software at this year's RSNA meeting.
DICOMetrix enables PACS administrators, directors, and IT personnel to actively monitor system performance, track it over time, and alert radiology and PACS support staff about system slowdowns and outages.
Double Black Imaging will show all three tiers of the software and an upgraded version of the enterprise server. The first tier is a client that sits at the workstation level, such as radiology workstation, CD burner, or film scanner, and monitors how fast images are coming into that station.
The second tier is the DICOMetrix Server, which sits on the DICOM server and monitors Internet protocol (IP) addresses sending data to the server, as well as outgoing traffic.
The third tier is the company's new Web-based enterprise solution (WebDES), which monitors all clients and servers from one location. After creating a baseline report on the enterprise's performance, the software also allows a user to set alerts for notification if any levels drop below specified tolerances, as well as gather data for quick reporting, according to the company.
