(Booth 3247) Italian software developer EBIT AET of Genoa will showcase its enterprise-wide integrated RIS/PACS product, Risolution, at RSNA 2008.
EBIT AET designed Risolution to optimize workflow, reduce operational costs, and speed up clinical services, according to the company, a business unit of Italian imaging company Esaote. It includes upgrades for advanced viewing and management such as the ability to save a physician's set of image viewing preferences for later presentation. In addition, physicians can read reports and documents using the incorporated Adobe Acrobat Reader in DICOMed Review.
Risolution's quality assurance functions help administrators manage human errors, such as identifying the wrong exams and patients, and make corrections that are consistent with data contained in the RIS and PACS.
