OmniCare is a modular system that includes options such as electronic medical records, scheduling, patient workflow, support for the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA), transcription/radiologist reporting, voice recognition, nurse navigator/case management, and a new cancer screening/preventive care offering. The revamped reporting system allows for export of reports to PDF, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel formats.
The new release of OmniCare also includes the OmniGate Interface engine, offering full HL7 and file-based integration with hospital, radiology, PACS, and billing systems, and a full DICOM worklist. This enables OmniCare to integrate directly with digital mammography, sonography, MRI, and other modalities.
