(Booth 5869) MedInformatix of Los Angeles will show the latest version of its RIS with new and updated features.
The company's RIS version 7.0 represents a full-suite radiology information system that includes scheduling, clinical documentation, reporting, billing, and collection on a single platform that can interface with any PACS, HIS, or modality, according to the company.
New features include automatic display of associated patient prep at time of scheduling, display of custom screening forms when required, the enabling multiple resource scheduling with preassigned lag times, and user-defined templates designed with Microsoft Word 2007.
The system allows users to receive work via push technology without selecting patients from a list, and it allows them to create multiple authorizations automatically. In addition, the new version offers marketing dashboards, automated hospital downloads, and an updated referring Web module.
MedInformatix is targeting diagnostic imaging centers with its RIS 7.0, which is scheduled for U.S. release in the fourth quarter of 2009, according to the company.
