PowerServer 4.6 instantly loads images on-demand, using better memory management and predictive loading algorithms. RamSoft upgraded the software for improved performance regardless of operating system, system hardware, or network bandwidth, according to the company.
PowerServer's PowerReader workstation supports breast MRI, mammography, and ultrasound reading from a single client and interface so that radiologists can have breast MRI, ultrasound, and mammography images open at the same time, with any combination of color and black-and-white monitors.
To handle larger file sizes, more data series, and increased bandwidth requirements for more high-definition images, RamSoft developed PowerCache and Smart Routing Technology (SRT) in lieu of hardware and network infrastructure upgrades.
RamSoft's SRT is a package of HIPAA-compliant and configurable tools for safe and secure study routing by DICOM tag or custom-design scriptable routing rules. Moreover, PowerServer can be programmed to prefetch and preroute images so that priors can be sent along with new incoming studies without delays, according to the company.
