Fuji RIS software gets ONC certification

Fujifilm Medical Systems USA announced that its Synapse MU 3.0 RIS software has achieved certification from a U.S. Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Testing and Certification Body (ONC-ATCB) as a complete electronic health record.

The Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT) granted on June 28 that Synapse MU 3.0 has met the 2011/2012 criteria of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for stage 1 meaningful use.
