Medical informatics and vendor-neutral archive (VNA) firm TeraMedica plans to debut its new Evercore Connext Mobile software at next month's Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) meeting.
Evercore Connext Mobile is designed to provide point-of-care data capture and archiving for an iPad or iPhone, TeraMedica said. The software can be used to acquire photos, videos, sound files, notes, and other data with enhanced security. Data are automatically archived directly to a hospital's Evercore VNA for viewing through an electronic medical record and the integrated TeraMedica Univision viewer.
Univision provides a clinical patient history with the display of both DICOM and non-DICOM data, including full non-DICOM toolsets, according to the firm.
